This five-star exhibition at the British Library invites visitors to step back into a dangerous world of plots, espionage and treachery. The turbulent relationship between Elizabeth I and Mary, Queen of Scots is brought to life in their own words.
Clay worked closely with the Library team and exhibition designers Hara Clark to produce most of the digital media for this dramatic exhibition. The work included ambient sound and projection that was deeply integrated into the space, as well as more illustrative didactic animations.
The digital media allows the dialogue between Queens to be lifted off the page of the exceptional manuscripts on display and adds further depth and emotion to the exhibition experience.
