Interactives and Media

Working with exhibition designers Easy Tiger, Clay created eight exhibits ranging from hard-hitting animated media, touchscreen-based interactives, through to immersive ambient installations, all of which explore the harrowing struggle Nelson Mandela went through during his fight against Apartheid in South Africa.

A range of innovative techniques were used for the exhibition including an apartheid era bench where visitors can hear people talk of the separation they experienced. Elsewhere a replica of a truncheon vibrates with the soundtrack of The Sharpesville Massacre retold.
